That wasn't Bela Fleck, that was Kepa Junkera, a Basque Accordion player, in a live performance with a Bulgarian backup band and some of his countrymen playing the txalaparta, that odd percussion instrument, and the alboka (horn). The name of the song/video is "Bok Espok."
'It's a tie- Busi Mhlongo "Y'apheli Mali Y'ami"- I think I spelled that right - and (I don't know the name) Bela Fleck with Bulgarian-sounding female backup singers, guys playing goat horns (?), and two amazing percussionists who appear to be playing with large sticks on a door...on a stage covered in sand. :) I've been searching the site for it, as well as the Net, and come up with nothing. Anybody remember it? I have a pretty serious hankerin' to see it again. I saw it at my sister's maybe 5 years ago, and she recorded it on VHS for me, but I don't have a TV, so can't rewind and find it. Wish I could at least learn the title so I'd have a better chance of searching for it. If I had a TV, Link TV would be the only thing worth watching.
Really appreciate all your programming for the truth and hope it brings to light.
Thank You!

Unfortunately your description does not jog any memories of a video in our world music collection. Was the Duo singing? And if so, was it in English? Was it a stand alone video, or perhaps part of another program? Any more info might be helpful.
I was watching LINK TV on Sunday morning (July 13) around 2 a.m. and I saw the most kewl jazz group. There was an older black man on the bass and a mid-aged white woman playing piano. Great stuff and I would like to know more. Does anyone recognize my description? Thanks. Robarooney
I just love the song by Oksar called "I don't need you" Does anyone know where to find the song or video? If so, please e-mail me at leanadonofrio@yahoo.com. It it so hard to find good music from around the world....
You know,that's a difficult one,because I,for one,DON'T really watch a lot of music videos. I listen to the radio,friends/family music,TV concerts etc etc,and buy/play what I like,from there.
But favorite video? I think it's still got to be 'Thriller',(M.Jackson)! That's a timeless classic! And it's Not my favorite song OR artist!
A recent near-second is actually more like a musical,'The West Bank Story'!
Excellant music-al video! Seen and appreciated first on LINKTV, Thankyou!
Here's another question for you music lovers out there -- which is your favorite video -- and wait -- before you answer -- not your favorite song or artist -- but favorite VIDEO. I can't wait to hear your answers!
